Portraiture and Artworks by Caroline

Inbetween being a mum of 2 and running Messy Mates, I also find time to get back to my roots as a portrait artist. I love being able to deliver creative experiences to children but I am also passionate about painting and have always been fascinated with portraiture.

I can take several different photographs of people or pets and translate it into a unique work of art using acrylics painted on box canvas. If you would like your children painted within a particular scene i.e playing on the beach or painted as fairies or with butterfly wings then this can be achieved using several different separate photographs rather than needing the exact photograph to work from (your favourite photo of your children and a favourite photo of a beach you have visited!).

There are several examples of my work found in the photo gallery. These pieces are painted using grey, white and black acrylic mix although I also paint in colour. I will be adding more examples soon to the website so check back often.

Commissions can take between 1 to 3 weeks to complete and no sittings are required. Simply provide digital images of your subject(s) and the quotation is based upon numbers of subjects and canvas size. Prices start from $200.

Flag Artworks

I am currently producing a series of artworks on canvas of national flags which are painted using a floral or patterned design that will more readily compliment your lounge wall. Flags can be painted using a variety of colours not just the colours of the flag i.e the Union Jack has been painted using Silver and Black rather than Red, White and Blue. Each flag can be painted with it’s own unique design depending on your own requirements. Scottish Flags currently being created.
