Messy Mates is pleased to have added this new service to our expanding list of activities. Great for all girl parties of tweens/teenagers and of course adults for special occasions such as hens nights, birthdays, weddings, corporate events and just to get the girls together and have some fun. If you are a parent worried about the children going off to school with henna tattoos on show, don’t worry, the designs can be applied at the tops of arms, small of the back and feet so they can be easily covered up.

Henna is a natural product, derived from the plant “Lawsonia Inermis”, when crushed and dried, it makes a powder with natural dying properties. This makes it safe to use for adults and for children who want a tattoo that lasts longer than face paint but without the pain of a needle! Caroline mixes her own paste using a simple recipe of 100% henna powder, lemon juice, lavender oil and sugar to ensure that the piece of artwork sticks around for longer!

Caroline is an established artist and using the art of henna, can produce amazing visual effects on any part of your body, most popular areas are the hands and feet.

Henna tattoos can last between 10 and 20 days if looked after.
